(Nature trek to Bintan’s highest mountain)

A Bintan Eco-tourism Venture Project, this nature trek brings you right into Bintan’s rainforest.

Scale the 340-meter high Gunung Bintan, passing giant trees over 40-meters tall. Come close with about 40 species of animals including the deer, wild boar and porcupine, the Silver Leaf Monkey, sun birds and swallows.

Try seasonal fruits which are available in the wild such as; the spiky Durian, fragrant jack-fruit, rambutan, mangosteens, dukus, bananas, papayas and pineapples. Mingle with the village people who have many legends to share. Savour the majestic view of The Bintan Bay, & refresh at the waterfall.

To Bring Along:

• Wear a pair of good strong sneakers or trekking boots (do not wear slippers)
