On September 19, 87 wonderful baby green turtles were released near the site at Banyu Biru Villas.

Students from Tunas Bangsa Primary School, Bintan and Nirwana guests including those from other resorts, were invited to witness the release. They were so delighted and applauded when these beautiful creatures paved themselves back to their natural habitat.

Another batch of Hawksbill turtles were also released on the evening of October 2, near Mayang Sari Beach Resort. This was the last batch of the season and we shall anticipate more turtles to be released next year.

Nirwana Gardens have been actively participating in this conservation project since 2006 to safeguard and maintain the natural ecological system in Bintan Island.
