Travel restrictions are in place around the world to contain the spread of Covid-19.

From 23 March 2020, 2359 hours, all short-term visitors (from anywhere in the world) will not be allowed to enter or transit through Singapore. Visitors who arrive in Singapore without the necessary approval will be denied entry. In addition, all travellers must submit a health declaration via the SG Arrival Card e-Service ( before proceeding with immigration clearance. They are required to show their health declaration acknowledgement email to the ICA officers. Short-term visitors who are granted entry into Singapore will be issued with a 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN).

From 2 April 2020, at 00.00 Western Indonesia Time (GMT +7), Indonesia has temporarily banned entry and transit by all foreign nationals. Exceptions would apply to only the following groups: Holders of limited stay permit cards (KITAS) and permanent residence permit cards (KITAP), holders of diplomatic residence permits (izin tinggal diplomatik) and official residence permits (izin tinggal dinas), medical and food aid and support personnel, sea, air and land transportation crew members, foreigners working on national strategic projects. The aforementioned categories of foreign nationals would still need to meet these requirements: 1) Possess a health certificate in English issued by the health authority of their country. 2) No travel history to COVID-19 affected countries/regions in the 14 days prior to entry into Indonesia. 3) Be prepared/willing to be quarantined for 14 days by the Indonesian authorities. Given the increasing number of countries affected by COVID-19, the Government continues to pay close attention to reports from WHO regarding the development of the spread.


Closure of Properties and Outlets

In view of the above, please be informed that Nirwana Resort Hotel, Nirwana Beach Club, Banyu Biru Villa, Indra Maya Pool Villa, all respective dining outlets and Resort Centre activities in Nirwana Gardens, unless stated otherwise, will be closed with effect from 1 April to 30 June 2020. Some of the facilities and activities will be temporarily set up at Mayang Sari Beach Resort during this period. Our Reservations Team will assist customers who are affected by the cancellations. Our Cancellation Policy:


For guests with existing reservations made on or before 15 March 2020 for stays with a check-in date between 1 April 2020 and 30 June 2020, including reservations with pre-paid rates that are typically more restrictive, we will allow full changes or cancellation without a charge prior to arrival. Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies. The cancellation policy will apply as usual to reservations made after 15 March 2020, and to reservations made on or before 15 March 2020 with check-in dates after 30 June 2020.

Change your travel dates

  • You may change your reservation dates without having to pay any fee until and including 31 August 2020.
  • From 1 September 2020 onwards, you can change your reservation dates if the same room rate as mentioned in your original booking is available. If you change to a higher rate, you may need to pay the amount difference.
