Travelling to Singapore
All visitors entering Singapore must comply with Singapore’s public health and immigration requirements as specified by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority. The Singapore border remains open to all Singapore citizens and permanent residents. Permanent residents must present a valid re-entry permit during check-in to enter Singapore. All other visitors who wish to enter Singapore must obtain prior approval from relevant authorities. As borders gradually reopen for travel, please refer to the SafeTravel website for information on the respective schemes (for example, Reciprocal Green Lane/Air Travel Pass/Air Travel Bubble). All visitors entering Singapore under the Reciprocal Green Lane and Air Travel Pass arrangements will require travel insurance with a minimum coverage of S$30,000 for their Covid-19-related medical treatment and hospitalization costs. Travelling to Indonesia
A temporary ban on the entry and transit by all foreign nationals is currently in force in Indonesia. Exceptions would apply to only the following groups: Holders of limited stay permit cards (KITAS) and permanent residence permit cards (KITAP), holders of diplomatic residence permits and official residence permits, aforementioned categories, including local residents, entering Indonesia would still need to possess a health certificate in English issued by the health authority of their country of departure, which states that the individual has tested negative for COVID-19 within the last 72 hours. Besides the above requirements, upon arrival at the destination, it is possible to go through additional health checks or to fill other forms required by local authorities or local government.
Entering Bintan Resorts
All visitors, including local residents, entering Bintan Resorts would still need to provide a negative COVID-19 test certificate taken within 72 hours of travel, valid for 14 days, at the entry points. From 2 August 2021 onwards, all visitors must provide a valid Covid-19 negative test certificate (GeNose valid for 24 hours, Antigen valid for 48 hours or PCR valid for 72 hours). The GeNose C19 test will be provided at a dedicated facility by Bintan Resorts and the cost of the test will be borne by all visitors at IDR 35,000 per person per test. This applies to all visitors travelling into Bintan, including residents of Indonesia, 5 years of age or older (based on the calendar year). Only when you’ve been notified that your test result is negative then may you continue to explore and enjoy the island offerings. Before travelling, we encourage all visitors to check the travel advisory regularly. While there are no movement restrictions in place, there are still certain rules that must be followed. All persons in Bintan must wear a mask in the public and use the Safe Entry process for contact tracing purposes.
Temporary Closure of Selected Properties and Outlets
In view of the above, please be informed that Nirwana Resort Hotel, Banyu Biru Villa, all respective dining outlets and Resort Centre activities in Nirwana Gardens, unless stated otherwise, are closed until further notice. Some of the facilities and activities will be temporarily set up at Mayang Sari Beach Resort during this period. Our Reservations Team will assist customers who are affected by the cancellations. Our Cancellation Policy:
As the current circumstances may have affected your travel plans, we have updated our reservation and cancellation policies to provide more flexibility and peace of mind when booking a stay with us. For guests with existing reservations or new reservations, we will allow changes or cancellation without penalty between 24 hours to 168 hours prior to arrival depending on the package. Specific room packages are excluded from this flexible reservation and cancellation policy. Please refer to the individual listing for details. Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.
For individual reservations booked into a pre-existing group block, please refer to cancellation terms quoted at the time of reservation.
